Will travel be paid?

Travel reimbursements

Most productions cover travel for adult performers who fall into the category of speciality performers. This will be clearly confirmed at the booking stage. If travel is being covered performers’ need to keep clear records of their travel costs. No records, no reimbursement!

Public Transport

The second you buy the ticket, take a picture and email / whats app it to XXXtras. Keep the originals as a safeguard, although it is unlikely that anyone will ask for these.

Often the start time for scenes can not be confirmed until the day before as it is dependent on how previous days’ scenes run. This often means performers are unable to buy travel tickets in advance. This usually pushes up the price but productions plan for this.

Driving

When performers are self driving, production companies will either:

• Pay x pence per mile

• Reimburse fuel receipts

The method of pay might not be confirmed until after work is completed so performers are asked to fill their cars each time they travel for Fittings or Performance days and to send copies of those receipts immediately to XXXtras (keeping the originals as a safeguard). In addition, performers will be asked to confirm the starting postcode they will be traveling from so per mile calculations can be made.
